As far back as I can remember I loved interior decorating. I loved everything about it... the fabrics, the colors, rearranging furniture and coming up with a fresh new look. Throughout my life, I was constantly doing a project at home and decorating for friends and family.
After twenty-six years of owning a dive charter operation, I decided to follow my dreams of going to school for interior design and working with clients. Going back to college later in life, was a wonderful experience. I attended the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. After graduating, I was fortunate enough to be able to work with design firms where I acquired extensive experience and knowledge related to the interior design industry. I had the opportunity to excel at customer service, construction, project management, complete designs from concept to install, window treatments and everything in between. It is so gratifying to work with clients and achieve results in their home that make them happy.
I was laid off from my job last February; however, it was a blessing in disguise. It gave me the opportunity to start my own business and do the two things I enjoy the most; helping people and creating beautiful and functional interiors.
This past summer I took a course in Redesign. This concept is creating a new look in your home using what you already own. This can be done in a day with dramatic results.
