As seen on HGTV, you can achieve dramatic results through Redesign or Design on a Dime. I am a very hands-on person and enjoy sewing, painting, wallpapering and coming up with creative ideas for a room. If clutter is an issue, I can help you get organized as well.
Redesign
Do you purchase pieces and get them home and you're not sure how to display them? Perhaps you moved into a new home and have not had time to pull your look together. Maybe you have one room that simply does not work and needs a makeover!! Consider Redesign, you can achieve a designer look in just one day using what you already own. Redesign Professionals are experts in the Design field. We know the principles of balance, proportion, light, color, texture, pattern and theme. I will use what you already own to create a dramatic new look. This process, depending on the number of rooms, can be done in one day. We will start with a consultation in your home to discuss your needs and then schedule your Redesign. In the photos to the right, the client had a beautiful home; however, they were unhappy with the family room. They had large pieces of furniture and were not sure how to arrange it. They needed an eating area as well as a sitting area to watch TV; the room also had no personal warmth. I went to work and after "shopping" in the home and garage, put together a beautiful room that was comfortable and functional.
Design on a Dime
There are a lot of creative tricks that can be done to freshen up a room that do not cost a lot of money. Painting is the most inexpensive change and has the biggest impact. Our client is a woman that moves back home to help in a family situation. She was staying in her Grandmother's old room thinking it would be for a very short time. As time went on and she realized it would be a while before she would move. Her furniture was in storage and she decided to make the room her own. She had previously purchased a duvet and wanted to use that as the inspiration piece. She loves mermaids and everything about the ocean. First, we cleaned out the space and painted. Then we shopped at Home Goods for accessories and purchased fabrics on sale. I sewed a cute curtain and crafted my own floral arrangement all for under $350.00 plus labor.
